Job Summary

Lead production and purchasing teams to ensure timely fabrication anddelivery of projects. Manage staff recruitment, coordinate with subcontractors,and oversee plant operations while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the purchasing team to raise and process purchase requisitions aligned with project requirements
• Plan production schedules and manage production teams to ensure smooth fabrication and on-time project delivery
• Conduct interviews and manage recruitment for production staff to build a skilled workforce
• Coordinate with subcontractors to place orders that meet project specifications and timelines
• Facilitate production meetings with foremen and staff to align cross-departmental activities and resolve issues
• Oversee plant and equipment management to maintain operational efficiency and safety
• Implement and monitor production safety practices in compliance with bizSAFE Level 3 standards
• Apply project management skills to drive production progress and meet delivery deadlines
• Analyze production challenges and apply problem-solving techniques to optimize workflow
• Manage diverse, multi-ethnic teams to foster collaboration and high performance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Interest in the heavy vehicle industry, with automotive experience preferred
• Additional proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, or Malay (written and spoken) to enhance communication
