Project Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and motivated Project Assistant to support Managing Director in Operations & Sales for Singapore elevator/lift projects by assisting in quotations, coordination, documentation, logistics, and site activities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate quotations, tenders, and sales documents to support project acquisition efforts
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations & Sales Department to maintain smooth workflow
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and site personnel to facilitate project progress
  • Assist in scheduling projects and coordinating site activities to meet deadlines effectively
  • Manage logistics, shipping, and delivery arrangements to ensure timely availability of materials
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records for compliance and future reference
  • Support project submissions and coordination to fulfill client and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor day-to-day operations and project status to ensure timely completion
  • Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by Management to support evolving business needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or elevator/lift industry is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to produce reports and correspondence
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (ACAD) preferred for understanding technical drawings
  • Ability to interpret shop drawings and as-built drawings at construction sites
  • Knowledge of project coordination and documentation practices
  • Experience handling quotations and customer communications
  • Familiarity with Singapore construction site practices
  • Ability to read technical drawings and project plans
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate multiple parties and manage timelines
  • Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently
