Project Engineer (1-year contract)
We are hiring a Project Engineer (1-year contract) to support end-to-end project execution across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and delivery phases. This role requires strong coordination, technical understanding, and stakeholder management to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution & Coordination - Support and drive project execution across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and delivery phases. Plan, monitor, and track project schedules, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely completion
- Customer & Stakeholder Management - Act as a key point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and alignment
- Technical & Engineering Support - Interpret technical specifications, review engineering documents (e.g., P&ID, process calculations), and ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Procurement & Vendor Coordination - Coordinate with suppliers on material delivery, monitor vendor performance, and expedite procurement activities
- Project Control & Risk Management - Monitor project costs, budgets, and resource allocation. Identify risks, issues, and deviations, and propose mitigation plans
- Quality, Documentation & Compliance - Ensure proper documentation control, submission, and approvals throughout the project lifecycle
- Contract Administration & Payment Support - Assist in cost monitoring, invoicing, and milestone payments follow-up
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in project engineering or project execution (preferably ETO or industrial equipment projects)
- Experience in oil & gas, chemical, marine, or rotating equipment industry is an advantage
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle (engineering, procurement, manufacturing, delivery)
- Good knowledge of engineering documentation (e.g., P&ID, technical specs)
