Project Engineer

Job Summary

Supportand lead construction project management activities by planning schedules,supervising work progress, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timelyproject documentation and handover.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
  • Supervise and control on-site work activities to uphold quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate effectively with project teams, consultants, clients, and sub-contractors to align objectives and resolve project issues promptly
  • Prepare and submit daily accomplishment reports to track progress and provide transparent updates to stakeholders
  • Manage all administrative processes related to the project, including compiling and finalizing project handover documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Execute additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department to support overall project success

Preferredcompetencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in construction works, preferably with structural steel project exposure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel and Word, to support project documentation and reporting
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills demonstrated through effective project coordination and stakeholder engagement
  • Proactive attitude with problem-solving skills applied to address and mitigate project challenges
