Job Summary

Manage and execute building construction projects by leading planning, coordination, and quality control to ensure timely delivery, compliance, and safety on site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and coordination of building construction projects to ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality standards
  • Coordinate construction activities with subcontractors, clients, and consultants to maintain progress aligned with the project schedule
  • Monitor construction progress daily to ensure smooth execution of works and adherence to timelines
  • Enforce quality standards and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations on site at all times
  • Apply analytical skills to identify problems and implement solutions that optimize project outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively to meet tight schedules without compromising quality or safety
  • Communicate clearly and negotiate effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project momentum
  • Demonstrate proactive attention to detail and responsibility in all aspects of project management
  • Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned to support project success

Required competencies and certifications

  • Relevant construction certificates as mandated for construction project management roles
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
  • Knowledge in architecture, engineering, or related fields
