Project Management Officer (PMO)
We are looking for an experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to support project governance and strategic initiatives within a banking environment. The role involves coordinating project activities, preparing business cases, managing change governance, and working closely with business, technology, and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare business cases, project proposals, and cost-benefit analyses for project funding approval.
- Coordinate project governance activities and ensure compliance with internal approval processes.
- Manage and track system change requests, ensuring required approvals are obtained before implementation.
- Monitor project timelines, risks, issues, and action items.
- Prepare project status reports and governance documentation.
- Coordinate with business users, technology teams, and overseas stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Facilitate meetings and maintain project records and documentation.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience as a PMO, Project Manager, or Business Analyst in Banking or Financial Services.
- Good understanding of SDLC and change management processes.
- Experience preparing business cases and governance documents.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar project management tools.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese is an advantage for business communication with overseas stakeholders.
