Project Manager (Public Sector)

Responsibilities
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.
- Oversee operations, maintenance, monitoring, security, and resilience of systems.
- Lead and coordinate with GovTech auditors for audits and oversee the implementation of QMS.
- Drives project management for complex technical initiatives by applying advanced understanding of cloud platforms for infrastructure planning, and data integration solutions for system connectivity.
- Partner with Product Manager in managing operational aspects of products or feature areas and driving their success from implementation to ongoing support.
- Conduct and support through systems, users and security tests pre-release.
- Contribute to setup and configuration of DevOps tools and environments.
- Accountable for identifying and assessing operational risks, developing mitigation strategies (including audit preparation and incident management processes).
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of project management experience.
- Experience participating in full software or product development lifecycles, preferably using Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, conceptualisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to handle ambiguous projects with minimal guidance, managing end-to-end delivery and aligning with organizational goals.
- Building strong team relationships and supporting cross-functional collaboration.
- Highly meticulous and tenacious, follows up with things to closure.
- Experience in government agencies is a plus.
- Experience with platforms like Confluence, JIRA are a plus.
