Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to project completion and handover
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and statutory requirements
Consultant & Contractor Coordination
- Lead and coordinate with consultants (Architects, Structural, M&E and other consultants/specialists)
- Manage and coordinate all subcontractors to ensure timely deliverables
- Chair site meetings and ensure timely resolution of technical and site issues
- Monitor construction progress, quality, and workmanship on-site
Cost, Procurement & Contracts
- Manage tendering, contract administration, variations, and progress claims in liaison with the Quantity Surveyor.
- Monitor project costs and implement value engineering without compromising quality and time
- Review and approve subcontractor claims and final accounts
Quality, Safety & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements
- Implement quality assurance and quality control processes
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, authorities, consultants, and sub-contractors
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear communication throughout the project
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of construction project management experience in Singapore
- Experience in conservation shophouse projects or heritage buildings will be an advantage
- Strong knowledge of local construction practices
