Python Automation Engineer

Project description

Luxoft is looking for experienced testers who are experienced in Python and/or Shell automation testing.

Responsibilities

• * Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for Firmware, SoC validation, BIOS, and Linux drivers. * Plan, execute, and refine automation strategies aligned with program milestones and release cycles. * Collaborate with QA and validation teams to improve test coverage and ensure quality for embedded systems. * Manage build and packaging processes for BIOS, firmware, and Linux drivers. * Enable and support CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of embedded software components.

SKILLS

Must have

• * 2-5y exp or upto 10y exp with framework development exp * Strong Python programming with hands-on experience in automation and framework development * Good understanding of Python OOP concepts and coding best practices * Experience in test automation and CI/CD workflows using Python, along with tools like Jenkins and GitHub * Proficiency in Linux environments and shell scripting * exposure to SoC validation as an added advantage

* Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
