Senior Python Test Automation Engineer

Software system level testing is a very important step in the development process of our products and ensures that the system meets specifications. The System Test Engineer is a key participant in the system level test process and provides important input to the product release decision making process.

Responsibilities

• The Digital Platform system team consists of 9 people and follows an Agile/Kanban way of working. You will do mostly manual testing, but automation will still be part of your activities. Software baseline validation · Execute the basic regression test on the software baseline · Quality check of the project deliverables · Contribute to requirement reviews with respect to testability · Review project input documents (project test report, process conformance) · Provide a quality verdict of the delivered software; accept/reject deliverables Execute the alpha test of new software packages · Execute alpha tests · Report issues · Write test reports, submit issue tickets Process improvement · Suggest process/tooling improvements where necessary · Test automation · Test system maintenance · Make sure the test systems are in a good state and solve issues where needed

SKILLS

Must have

• Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology. You will do mostly manual testing, but automation will still be part of your day to day activities. · You have between +5 years of experience as a Software Tester in a complex software development organization. For this role we are only looking to hire a senior experienced Tester; · You are ISTQB certified (advanced level); · You like to perform manual and automatic testing; . You have a very good knowledge an experience in Python, Selenium and Linux · Experience working with Jira, BitBucket, Git, Polarion · Experience with test automation, security testing, CI/CD pipelines, and integration of test processes across products.
