Quality Control Inspector

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform incoming material inspections according to Work Instructions (WI).
  • Carry out in-process and final product inspections in compliance with Quality Procedures (QP) and WI.
  • Ensure material and component traceability is properly maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Update router sheets accurately and ensure proper VM clock in/out procedures are followed.
  • Ensure only calibrated and validated measuring instruments are used during inspections.
  • Report any non-conformance issues to Supervisor or Team Lead promptly.
  • Re-inspect repaired or reworked items before release for further processing or shipment.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection records before delivery to customers.
  • Support daily production and quality activities as assigned by superior.
  • Assist in training and orientating new quality team members on inspection methods, company practices, and procedures.
  • Adhere to company Safety, Quality, and Code of Business Conduct requirements.
  • Support company initiatives such as Total Quality Management (TQM) and Lean Manufacturing programs.

Requirements

  • NITEC / O-Level / N-Level qualification.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in Oil & Gas manufacturing.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO9001, Quality Management System (QMS), Quality Control processes, and measuring instruments.
  • Familiar with LDP (Liquid Dye Penetrant) or Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is an advantage.
  • Physically fit with good eyesight.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
