Quality Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis using statistical tools to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Perform defect analysis to identify root causes and drive corrective/improvement actions
- Conduct waveform analysis (e.g. electrical/test signals) to support failure diagnosis and process understanding
- Facilitate and maintain Calibration and MSA systems; support related operational activities
- Ensure Calibration and MSA compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements
- Manage and maintain quality-related tools/systems to ensure reliability, availability, and data integrity
- Support and drive improvements in business processes related to quality systems and data management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, Yield, Engineering, Operations)
- Support ad-hoc audits, improvement initiatives, and projects as assigned
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Materials or equivalent)
- Fresh graduates are welcome; 2–5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently when required
- Fast learner with ability to adapt quickly to new tools, systems, and processes
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Basic understanding of quality systems (Calibration, MSA) and analytical/problem-solving approaches
- Team player with ability to collaborate effectively across functions
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards is an added advantage
- Permanent night shift
