Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:


• Prepare tender cost submission /measurement / quantity take off / cost evaluation.


• Perform quantity take-off for tender projects based on the set time line.


• Liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.


• Obtain quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors.


• Evaluate price comparison and costing summary.


• Ensure accurate measurement of quantities to assist in preparing progress payment claims, variation order

claims, and payments to subcontractors and suppliers, including final accounts.


• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlements, and sub-contractor payments.


• Be meticulous, analytical, and proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.


• Work effectively as a team player and meet tight deadlines.


• Able to read M&E drawings.


• Maintenance of project documentation.


• Perform all other QS-related duties and any ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.







Requirements:


• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building or equivalent.


• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a construction firm preferred.


• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet tight

deadlines.


• Have good knowledge of market updates and construction cost trends.
