Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job Summary
You will manage quantity surveying tasks including assessing subcontractor claims, preparing payments and variation orders, and handling client submissions to support successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Perform quantity take-offs to accurately measure materials and work scope for project cost control
- Assess subcontractors' claims and prepare interim payment applications and variation orders to ensure accurate financial tracking
- Submit and settle claims and accounts with clients to maintain transparent project financials
- Maintain organized project files and drawings to support effective documentation and audit readiness
- Update and record variations or omissions to reflect changes in project scope and costs
- Execute additional duties assigned by management to support project and company objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications
- Demonstrated skills in contract negotiation, contract administration, and managing variation orders
- Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail, analytical thinking, proactivity, teamwork, and meeting tight deadlines
- Willingness to be stationed at the project site office
