Quantity Surveyor
Job description and responsibilities
- Involved in cost analysis and contracts administration services
- Prepare tender documents, tender evaluation reports, variation agreements
- Monitor budget and keep track of project expenditures
- Involve in all quantity surveying and contract administration activities for the project
- Prepare and submit tenders including quantity taking off and pricing
- Prepare letter of award to subcontractors and verify claims and cost control
- Identify and prepare variations orders for the projects
- Obtain subcontractors and suppliers quotation for costing
- Perform cost comparison
- Close liaison among project managers, designers and vendors
- Ad-Hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree Holder in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
- Minimum 1 years relevant experience in QS fields
- Proactive, well-organized, attentive to detail and able to work under pressure
- Work independently and a good team player
- Previous exposure to sub-contractors and commercial contracts administration, cost and budgeting controls, claims handling, tender submission, materials pricing and costs estimation etc.
