Community Memorial Hospital is hiring a PRN Diagnostic Radiographer to support our high-performing imaging team. This as-needed role offers flexibility while continuing to deliver high-quality patient care.
You’ll perform a variety of radiologic procedures for patients of all ages, using independent judgment and technical expertise to support accurate diagnosis.

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiology procedures (general, surgical, portable, and tomography) following safety, quality, and radiation protection standards
Accurately identify, document, and complete exams in RIS; maintain complete, timely, and error-free records
Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, equipment operation, and prompt reporting of equipment issues
Assist radiologists and physicians with procedures, patient care, and administration of contrast/media as required
Coordinate patient flow, transport, and communication with nursing services to minimize delays and ensure continuity of care
Provide age-appropriate patient care while maintaining empathy, safety, and professionalism
Support departmental operations through teamwork, student supervision, equipment cleaning, and flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
Required:
- Holds Permit-to-Practice radiology in the state of Iowa.
- Certified and holds current registration with the A.R.R.T. as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Includes those currently pursuing registration in Mammography, CT, or MRI. If pursuing the Mammography, CT, or MRI tract, the technologist is required to successfully obtain their modality A.R.R.T. board examination within 18 months of completion of the orientation program.
