Hours: full-time
Location: San Jose, CA
WFH situation: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office)
Why open: long-term contract need. Looking for an experienced full-cycle recruiter who has recruited heavily for non-IT engineering roles (like Mechanical and Hardware)
Must haves:
-6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
-Has recruited heavily for non-IT Engineering roles (please explain)
-Semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, med device or capital equipment industry
-MS Office
Preferred:
-Bachelor degree
-Large company experience
-Semi-conductor industry
-Has mix of agency and corporate experience
Job Description:
Talent Acquisition Partner
Responsibilities:
- Be a strategic partner to hiring managers to define needs and design hiring processes to ensure a world-class candidate experience
- Manage full cycle recruiting process from source to close
- Develop and execute on creative sourcing strategies both individually and with team to build a strong pipeline of outstanding candidates
- Get creative to continue to create diversity in our recruiting pipeline
- Work with hiring managers and HR to ensure job requirements are appropriately set, clearly understood, and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria
- Participate in implementing, continuously refining, and assessing recruiting processes to deliver high quality results and improve customer and candidate experience
- Be familiar with industry trends, market competitors and unemployment conditions
- Screen and deliver candidates at top of the funnel so hiring managers only see a strong subset of technically capable candidates
Qualifications:
- 7-12 years in a large corporate environment. Specializing in Engineering recruitment. Hardware/Mechanical/Software
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Can set clear expectations and execute against them
- Possess excellent social, organizational, communication and negotiation skills, positive attitude and high level of initiative
- Ability to establish rapport with candidates and hiring managers of all levels
- Ability to work with a high sense of urgency, and remain flexible within a highly dynamic, changing environment while successfully meeting objectives
