Research Coordinator

Overview

Jain Global is seeking a highly motivated Research Coordinator to work closely with the Head of Broker Relations and Corporate Access, Portfolio Managers, and Analysts to provide administrative, organizational, and strategic support. A high standard of experience, excellence, professionalism, flexibility, teamwork, strong organizational skills, polished communication, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are key to this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for PM and Analyst teams including corporate access executing, calendar management, travel, expenses, and ad hoc requests or projects

  • Maintain critical reporting systems for Broker Relations with daily data entry, maintenance, and oversight for the investment teams

  • Strategically coordinate Research and Corporate Access with external partners (banks, broker / dealer partners, and research providers)

  • Liaise with internal and external partners on behalf of your investment team including Sell-side contacts, Research Vendors, Corporate IR teams & Expert Networks

  • Work with our Compliance team to ensure adherence to policy, specifically with regards to external / sell side resources and interactions

  • Daily collaboration with the Jain Research Coordinator team on cross-sector work and provide back-up coverage as needed

  • Develop new / more efficient processes in collaboration with our investment teams and Broker Relations overtime to contribute and be involved in strategic projects and initiatives

  • Expense management, reporting, and processing

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years administrative experience within financial services. Knowledge and experience within research services and/or corporate access a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Strong time management skills

  • Must be teamwork oriented and possess the ability to work independently

  • Excellent organization skills and detail orientation

  • A commercial and thoughtful mindset; ability to “connect the dots” and unearth synergies for collaboration and resource utilization

  • Sense of ownership of work; proactive in following up on details, anticipating needs or issues and closing the loop on requests

  • Mature and strong inter-personal skills; able to interact professionally with peers and senior level management both internally and externally. Ability to maintain a level of confidentiality when needed.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn or currently utilize AI Tools; familiarity with Workday, Bloomberg, and CorpAxe is not required but a plus
