Restaurant Service Crew

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our service crew. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, offering friendly and professional service to our customers as well as assisting with service operations, playing a crucial role in ensuring that restaurant operations run smoothly.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional service to customers at all times
• Attend to customer requests, inquiries and complaints in a courteous manner
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Clear and set up tables to maintain a clean and welcoming dining experience
• Assist with washing, cleaning and maintaining cutlery, cups and plates
• Prepare drink orders according to restaurant standards
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner
• Process customer orders accurately via the Point-of-Sale (POS) system
• Work with team members and kitchen crew to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager

Job Requirements

• Candidates with no or lacking prior experience are welcome to apply (On the Job training will be provided)
• Preferably 1 or more years of experience in a customer service position
• Preferably able to commence work immediately or on short notice
• Friendly, customer-focused, and service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
• Able to stand for long periods of times (Can sit from time to time)
• Basic proficiency in using Point-Of-Sales (POS systems)
