Safety Coordinator

YIJIA Engineering Pte. Ltd. is a professional contractor specializing in cleanroom and M&E installation works, actively involved in semiconductor-related projects in Singapore.

We are looking for a Safety Coordinator to support our site operations and ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and monitoring workplace safety and health measures on site
• Conduct site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts or unsafe conditions
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure
• Assist in the preparation and review of risk assessments, safe work procedures, and other safety documentation
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and site safety orientations when required
• Liaise with project teams, workers, subcontractors, and relevant parties on safety matters
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, site safety rules, and statutory requirements
• Maintain proper safety records, reports, and related documentation

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Safety Coordinator Level B certificate
• Minimum relevant experience in construction site safety coordination
• Experience in site projects is required; semiconductor / cleanroom project experience will be an advantage
• Must be able to communicate effectively in Chinese and English
• Able to read and understand safety documents, work instructions, and site-related communications in Chinese
• Familiar with risk assessment, permit-to-work, and general site safety practices
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently on site

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cleanroom, HVAC, piping, ducting, or M&E installation projects
• Experience working with main contractors, subcontractors, and multi-national site teams in Singapore
• Good coordination and communication skills
