Safety Coordinator
Job Content :
· Conduct daily safety TBM (DTQC, ARMG, AftSales) Whatsapp photo of teams and attendance to Safety Officer after TBM.
· Conduct daily inspection and submit a weekly report to PSA by end of the week. (Subject to PSA requirement of submission regularity)
· Assess sections PTW and work equipment conditions that are required to bring to operational area (eg. PPE, electrical sets and tools, lifting gear etc.).
· Coordinate with supervisors to ensure site office area, store and operational working area maintain good housekeeping.
· Ensure all activities have Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedure prior commence work and their measures are observed on site.
· Patrol and station full time at site operational area (eg. QC, wharves etc.) whenever sections’ team and OEMs are performing their activities.
· Identify hazards and initiate corrective measures immediately with team supervisor, when necessary, stop work to explore adequate measures with leaders especially high risk activities or unsafe conditions.
· Coordinate and assist Safety Officer on other safety works (eg. ISO / RM auditing, Safety promotion, STO, training, evacuation drill, incident investigation etc).
· Inform Safety Officer when other work matters require your attention elsewhere that may leave your post at the operational area for some duration.
· Inspect periodic Fire extinguishers, Personal Fall Arrestor & Harness etc. and maintain records / registry.
· Coordinate and join PSA / Safety Officer with safety inspections at the worksite and follow through observation or findings.
· Extend assistance to other teams when is required at other worksite (eg. PPT).
· Role, Duties & Conduct cover all ports of PSA if necessary.
Job Requirements:
· At least 5 Years of working experience in marine/shipyard
· Candidate must possess Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health
· Computer literate and familiar with MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Diligent and hardworking
