Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team by coordinating sales activities, managing client and supplier communications, preparing proposals, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services to facilitate successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and tender documents to support sales team objectives
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services for projects
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, contracts, and client communications to ensure data accuracy
- Monitor project timelines and provide regular updates to stakeholders to track progress and address issues
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and deliver effective after-sales support to enhance client satisfaction
- Compile sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to inform management decision-making
- Support marketing initiatives including trade shows, client presentations, and promotional campaigns to boost sales efforts
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations to maintain compliance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales coordination, preferably within construction or building materials industries
Skills & Competencies
- Organize and multitask effectively to manage multiple sales coordination activities simultaneously
- Communicate clearly and build relationships with clients and internal teams to facilitate collaboration
- Utilize MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) proficiently to prepare documents and reports
- Apply knowledge of construction trade practices, materials, and supply chain processes to support project needs
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver results
- Pay close attention to detail and apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues proactively
