Sales Engineer
Responsibilities
- Manage sales activities including customer prospecting, presentations, follow-ups, and closing orders.
- Address all sales inquiries effectively.
- Conduct cost comparisons and budget planning for projects, ensuring accuracy in costing.
- Liaise with customers, reviewing contracts and terms.
- Develop new markets and business opportunities.
- Implement marketing strategies and conduct market research to monitor trends and sales performance.
- Set sales targets and forecast potential projects.
- Estimate costs for products such as switchboards.
- Coordinate internal and external aspects of projects, including drawing approvals, quality checks, engineering, delivery, and commissioning.
- Manage invoicing and payment collections.
- Evaluate product capabilities to meet customer needs.
- Carry out other tasks as directed by Head of Department.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the IT infrastructure will be an advantage
- Experienced in handling sales inquiries and quotations for project sales.
- Prior sales experience in power panels, circuit breakers, and related electrical systems is a plus.
- 5.5 days work week
