Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales activities including customer prospecting, presentations, follow-ups, and closing orders.
  • Address all sales inquiries effectively.
  • Conduct cost comparisons and budget planning for projects, ensuring accuracy in costing.
  • Liaise with customers, reviewing contracts and terms.
  • Develop new markets and business opportunities.
  • Implement marketing strategies and conduct market research to monitor trends and sales performance.
  • Set sales targets and forecast potential projects.
  • Estimate costs for products such as switchboards.
  • Coordinate internal and external aspects of projects, including drawing approvals, quality checks, engineering, delivery, and commissioning.
  • Manage invoicing and payment collections.
  • Evaluate product capabilities to meet customer needs.
  • Carry out other tasks as directed by Head of Department.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the IT infrastructure will be an advantage
  • Experienced in handling sales inquiries and quotations for project sales.
  • Prior sales experience in power panels, circuit breakers, and related electrical systems is a plus.
  • 5.5 days work week
