Sales Executive

The Sales Executive will be responsible to assist to expand the company’s sea freight and logistic business.

Responsibilities

· Meet and achieve targeted KPI and budget

· Build relationship with new prospective and existing customer

· Find cold leads 90% of the time to bring new sales

· Explore business opportunities with existing customer (10%) of the group

· Understand customer need to provide quality service upon successful sales closing

· Participate in global and local tenders

· Build relationship with all carriers and liners to establish good reputations and rates

· Coordinate with all departments locally or internationally within the group to establish the group goal of door-to-door supply chain services

Requirements

· Degree / Diploma in logistics / business or related field

· 2-3 years’ experience with a track record in sales and business development in the logistics & Freight forwarding industry

· Strong knowledge in the logistic & sea freight industry

· Able to secure customers from these industries: food, E-commence, project cargo, automative, chemical, oil & gas and furniture

· Willing to attend events to network with people in the industry

· Willing to travel to visit customer as and when necessary

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Strong negotiation and presentation skills
