Job Description – Sales Manager
The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving hotel revenue goals by developing and maintaining business relationships with key accounts across corporate, MICE, government, and leisure segments. This position plays a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, executing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with Pullman’s premium brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
Manage and grow assigned market segments (Corporate, MICE, Government, Leisure, etc.).
Conduct regular sales calls, site inspections, and client entertainment to strengthen relationships and secure business.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the hotel’s market reach.
Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and other related documentation in accordance with company policy.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using CRM systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi).
Work closely with the Revenue, Marketing, and Reservations teams to maximize profitability.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
Provide regular market feedback, competitor analysis, and performance reports to the Director of Sales.
Ensure all interactions reflect the Pullman brand image and service philosophy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably within an international 4- or 5-star property.
Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of market trends, corporate travel, and MICE business.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset.
Familiarity with sales software and CRM systems (Opera, Delphi, or similar).
High level of professionalism, initiative, and result orientation.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel for business as required.
