Sales & Reservations Officer

Job Summary

The Sales & Reservations Officer is responsible for handling reservations, managing room inventory, and supporting sales activities to optimise occupancy and revenue. The role ensures accurate reservation processing, effective communication with guests and partners, and supports sales initiatives through account management and lead follow-up.

Requirements

  • Attend to enquiries through reservations hotline, email, OTAs, and website booking engine in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process and update reservations accurately in PMS systems to ensure data integrity and room availability.
  • Manage and update room inventory across third-party channels and booking platforms to maximise occupancy.
  • Respond to all reservation and sales-related enquiries efficiently and in accordance with service standards.
  • Support sales activities by producing and following up on sales leads for assigned markets and accounts.
  • Maintain and develop assigned accounts to support occupancy and revenue targets.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, partners, and internal teams on reservations, accounts, and room availability.
  • Assist in implementing tactical sales plans aligned with market segments and business objectives.
  • Conduct follow-ups and updates on sales activities, ensuring CRM or records are updated accurately and timely.
  • Prepare and submit daily, monthly, and ad-hoc reports in a timely manner.
  • Conduct site inspections when required and coordinate with operational departments.
  • Ensure adherence to reservation policies, procedures, and brand service standards.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in reservations, sales, or hotel operations.
  • Minimum ‘O’ Level certification or equivalent.
  • Proficient in PMS systems or similar property management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of online distribution channels (OTAs, booking engines, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Meticulous, responsible, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work well in a team and cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Working location will be at Stamford Place - 61 Stamford Road
