Job Title: Concierge


JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Concierge, you will play a key role in enhancing each guest’s stay by providing attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.

From welcoming guests upon arrival to assisting with requests, reservations, and local recommendations, you will support the overall resort experience.
You are expected to have up-to-date knowledge of the local area and seasonal conditions, and deliver reliable, high-quality service to both domestic and international guests.


JOB OVERVIEW/RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Services & Hospitality

  • Greet and assist guests upon arrival and departure
  • Provide support and information at the concierge desk and lobby area
  • Assist with luggage handling during peak periods

Information Services & Guest Guidance

  • Provide recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing, tours, and activities
  • Promote resort events, activities, and special offers
  • Create personalized itineraries and experiences based on guest preferences

Winter Operations & Local Area Information

  • Monitor and provide information on snow conditions, weather, and lift operations
  • Share up-to-date information on local events and area highlights

Reservations & Arrangements

  • Handle reservations for restaurants, activities, and transportation
  • Manage booking changes and cancellations
  • Assist guests with itinerary planning and schedule adjustments

Guest Inquiries & Team Coordination

  • Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle last-minute requests and unexpected situations professionally


Training and support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.


REQUIREMENTS

【Must】

  • Experience
    • Experience in customer service or guest-facing roles (Industry experience is not limited)
  • Education and Qualification
    • Valid working visa in Japan
  • Skills
    • Ability to multitask and manage bookings efficiently
    • Basic computer skills
    • Ability to adapt and perform effectively in fast-paced environments
  • Language Skills
    • Business level or above in English
  • Competencies
    • Friendly, polite, and professional attitude toward guests and colleagues
    • Strong commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences
    • Attention to detail and a high standard of service
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays


【Preferred】

  • Experience
    • Previous experience in hospitality, resorts, concierge, or guest services
    • Experience in tourism, resort operations, or winter sports environments
  • Education and Qualification
    • Valid Driver’s License (Japanese, international, or foreign driver’s license with an official Japanese Translation)
  • Skills
    • Experience using hotel reservation or property management systems (PMS)
  • Language Skills
    • Conversational level or above in Japanese
  • Competencies
    • Positive, energetic, and welcoming personality
    • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability
    • Ability to make guests from diverse backgrounds feel comfortable and welcome


Employment Terms and Condition

Contract Period & Renewal

  • Contract Period: 11/3/2026 - 3/31/2027
  • Contract renewal: Applicable
  • Reason of Renewal:
    • Employee’s work performance and attitude.
    • Company’s business demands.

Duty, Work Location & Scope of Changes

  • Duty: may be changed as determined by the company
  • Initial Work Location: one of the company’s properties in Niseko Area, Rusutsu or Furano, Hokkaido
  • Scope of changes: company properties in Niseko Area, Rusutsu or Furano.
    • Training may be conducted at other location.
    • Employees may be required to work at different properties based on operational needs.
    • The initial assignment will be determined by the company.

Commuting & Workplace policy

  • Private Vehicle Commuting: Not permitted
  • Measures to prevent passive smoking: indoor smoking prohibited

Working hours, Days off & Overtime

  • Working hours / Shift schedule: Up to 8 hours between 06:00 to 22:00
  • Days off: two days off per week (based on shift schedule)
  • Overtime: Yes
  • Monthly Average Overtime Hours: 10 hours per month
  • 36-Article Agreement (overtime): Applicable (Due to seasonal factors and a high concentration of orders from general customers, periods of increased workload are expected)


Salary Package / Benefit

  • Salary: 1,600 yen / per hour ~
  • Subsidized Ski Pass on your location or Recreational Allowance
