Security Assurance Engineer

You will own and operate the security assurance program. You will design and execute automated testing (including breach and attack simulation) to verify prevention and detection controls across cloud, SaaS, and IT environments. You will build and maintain a real-time security posture dashboard, optimize and integrate security tools, coordinate offensive testing cycles (penetration testing, phishing, red team), translate findings into actionable remediation, and define ownership, maintenance schedules, and lifecycle processes for security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define, orchestrate and drive the security assurance program from vision to full implementation
• Design and execute automated testing to verify prevention and detection controls across cloud, SaaS and IT
• Build and maintain a real-time security posture dashboard
• Review and optimize security tools to ensure proper configuration, integration, and ROI
• Identify monitoring and blocking blind spots where tools are not effectively used
• Coordinate external offensive testing cycles and translate findings into actionable remediation
• Define ownership, maintenance schedules, and lifecycle processes for all security technologies

Requirements

• 8+ years experience of cybersecurity engineering and architecting (Infosec/DevSecOps)
• Proven technical capabilities in automation, scripting and AI
• Experience in offensive testing methodologies such as penetration testing and red team exercises
• Strong understanding of breach simulation, continuous control monitoring (CCM) and technical validation methodologies
• Strong understanding of cloud and SaaS security (WAF, CNAPP)
• Strong understanding of identity, access control and infrastructure security (IDM, IDP, PAM)
• Strong understanding of endpoint and corporate IT security (EDR, DLP, SASE)
• Ability to take full ownership of security assurance roadmap and drive cross-functional implementation
• Strong executive communication, strategic planning, critical and analytical thinking
