Senior Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full responsibility for the accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies.

• Prepare the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely preparation and submission of financial information.

• Handle Accounts Payable activities and ensure the efficient execution of daily finance operations.

• Prepare and analyse monthly and annual financial reports.

• Support GST filings, corporate tax compliance, and other statutory reporting requirements in accordance with regulatory deadlines.

• Prepare Group management reports, including sales performance reviews, budget variance analysis, and financial performance assessments.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with reporting obligations.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen internal controls.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a fast-paced commercial environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Experience in the retail industry and familiarity with SAP will be advantageous.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels.

• Able to meet reporting deadlines and support peak reporting periods when required.
