Senior Backend Engineer, Yield

You will design and implement scalable backend systems hardened against blockchain and yield protocol attack vectors. You will research blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and liquidity protocols to identify vulnerabilities prior to integration. You will integrate AI/ML solutions to automate anomaly detection and optimize capital efficiency. You will solve mission-critical engineering problems to ensure precise and secure protocol interactions. You will champion secure coding practices by participating in code reviews and threat modeling for financial logic.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable resilient backend systems hardened against blockchain and yield protocol attack vectors
• Research blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and liquidity protocols to identify vulnerabilities
• Integrate AI/ML solutions to detect security anomalies and optimize yield operations
• Solve mission-critical engineering problems to ensure secure and precise interactions with yield products
• Champion secure coding practices through code reviews and threat modeling

Requirements

• 8+ years backend engineering experience
• Knowledge of security pitfalls such as reentrancy, oracle manipulation, and logic flaws
• Experience with AI technologies (Claude Code, Cursor) and building AI tools (Claude Skills, headless agents, RAG)
• Extensive Node.js experience and familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, and Kubernetes
• Research experience evaluating security implications of digital asset yield architectures
• Experience in blockchain and digital assets (advantage)
• C++ experience (advantage)
• Frontend experience regarding secure web practices (advantage)
