Senior Consultant - Project Management

The Senior Consultant - Project Management will be responsible for managing project managers and a variety of strategic projects. This role involves facilitating process work groups, setting up managing and reporting processes, and providing guidance on standardizing work breakdown structures to ensure effective project execution and compliance with best practices.

  • Establish project management governance and compliance controls.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize program risks.
  • Delegate project tasks based on individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
  • Track program and project performance to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to programs based on financial analysis.
  • Attend conferences and training to maintain proficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.
  • Manage multiple projects of varied size and complexity simultaneously.
  • Help project managers with best practices.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Proven working experience in project management.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Primavera, MS Project, Excel, and Azure DevOps.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE 2 certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other project management tools like MS Project and SharePoint.
