SENIOR COOK CHINESE CUISINE
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and serve a variety of Chinese dishes, including stir-fry, soups, meats and seafood, according to company standards.
- Assist in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating and portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with NEA requirements.
- Ensure proper handling, storage and rotation of food ingredients.
- Assist in stock ordering, receiving and storing supplies.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Follow company SOPs and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Chinese cuisine (zichar, hawker stall or restaurant environment).
- Must possess a valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Must not have food allergies (due to handling of seafood, spices and other ingredients).
- Willing to work 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays as required by operations.
- Positive attitude, team player and willingness to learn.
- Candidates should note that this is a non-halal establishment.
