Senior full stack developer (.net – Chicago)

The Planet Group has partnered with a Chicago, IL area company to locate Senior Full-Stack Developer for a contract role. This role is integral to delivering innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and elevate the customer experience. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive application enhancements while ensuring service reliability and performance that our team members rely on.

Please note, this is a HYBRID role. You must be willing to go onsite 2-3 days a week. Candidates will be screened thoroughly.

Please also note, all candidates will be asked to complete a technical assessment for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using Angular and C#.
• Build and maintain a reusable UI component library.
• Develop and implement RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core.
• Utilize Entity Framework Core for efficient data management.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and solutions.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure high-quality code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain application reliability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in application design and development.
• Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and new technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML5/CSS3.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing using Azure DevOps
• Expertise in C# and .NET Core.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, NUnit, xUnit).
• Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
