SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER
About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and commercially driven Marketing Manager to lead the company's overall marketing strategy, brand growth, and business expansion initiatives across Singapore, Southeast Asia, and China.
As a key member of the management team, the Marketing Manager will have full ownership and accountability for all marketing functions and outcomes. The successful candidate will lead and manage the Singapore-based marketing organization, oversee end-to-end marketing operations, and drive measurable business results across customer acquisition, brand awareness, revenue growth, and market expansion.
This role requires a proven leader with strong experience building and scaling consumer brands, managing high-performing teams, and supporting regional growth strategies, particularly within Southeast Asia and China.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Management
- Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership teams on business growth, market expansion, and brand development initiatives.
- Support and drive marketing performance against agreed KPIs.
- Establish clear KPIs, performance frameworks, and reporting mechanisms to ensure business objectives are achieved.
Singapore Marketing Leadership
- Lead, manage, and develop the Singapore-based marketing team across all marketing functions.
- Oversee all aspects of brand marketing, digital marketing, social media, CRM, loyalty programs, public relations, partnerships, content, and customer engagement.
- Drive local market growth initiatives and ensure strong execution across all customer touchpoints.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, collaboration, and results.
Regional Expansion – Southeast Asia
- Partner with business leaders to support market entry and business growth across Southeast Asia.
- Develop scalable regional marketing frameworks and go-to-market strategies for new markets.
- Ensure brand consistency while adapting marketing approaches to local consumer preferences and cultural nuances.
- Identify growth opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives across the region.
China Market Development
- Support and lead marketing initiatives related to the company's expansion into Mainland China.
- Develop localized brand positioning, customer acquisition strategies, and marketing programs tailored to Chinese consumers.
- Leverage deep understanding of China's digital ecosystem, consumer trends, and retail landscape to accelerate growth.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with relevant partners, agencies, platforms, and stakeholders in China.
Commercial Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Support revenue growth through effective marketing initiatives, ensuring marketing initiatives directly contribute to business performance and profitability.
- Be fully accountable for achieving agreed commercial KPIs, including revenue growth, customer acquisition, same-store sales growth, customer lifetime value (CLV), market share expansion, and return on marketing investment (ROMI).
- Develop and execute data-driven growth strategies to accelerate sales performance across dine-in, delivery, retail, loyalty, and digital channels.
- Partner closely with Operations, Business Development, and Finance teams to align marketing investments with business objectives and financial targets.
- Establish a performance marketing culture with clear accountability, measurable outcomes, and continuous optimization.
- Utilize customer insights, analytics, and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities and unlock new revenue streams.
- Drive demand generation, customer retention, and brand monetization initiatives to maximize sustainable business growth.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5-8 years of marketing experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience within the F&B, FMCG, Retail, Hospitality, Lifestyle, or Consumer Brand sectors.
- Strong track record of delivering measurable business growth and managing substantial marketing budgets.
China & Regional Expansion Experience
- Demonstrated success supporting or leading business expansion initiatives in Mainland China.
- Deep understanding of Chinese consumer behavior, digital platforms, market dynamics, and localization strategies.
- Experience supporting multi-country growth initiatives across Southeast Asia is highly desirable.
- Existing business network and industry connections within China will be a significant advantage.
Leadership Capabilities
