Senior Mechanical Designer

📍 Work Location: Kaki Bukit

🕘 Work Hour: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

💰 Salary: Basic up to $8,500 + AWS + Variable Bonus (based on experience and industry background)

Job Description

• Design and develop semiconductor components, tooling, and precision applications
• Create 2D and 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
• Perform design analysis, simulations, and testing to validate product performance
• Lead engineering projects from concept to completion within timelines
• Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, quality, and sales teams
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Support customers with technical solutions and design discussions
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work with suppliers on materials, components, and surface treatments
• Maintain accurate documentation including design history and test results

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering field
• Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical design for semiconductor or precision industries
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor front-end or back-end processes
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or equivalent)
• Experience with precision components and tooling design for semiconductor applications
• Proven track record managing engineering projects and cross-functional teams
