Senior Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer you will create and evolve complex digital interfaces and financial product workflows for mobile and web. You will contribute to design systems and reusable component libraries, develop high fidelity visuals, and craft intuitive UI/UX that scales across platforms. You will collaborate with cross functional partners to translate business objectives into compelling experiences, participate in design reviews, and iterate based on user feedback and engineering constraints. This role is based in Menlo Park, California with in person attendance expected at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the technical design of high-priority digital product features across mobile and web, managing the full lifecycle from problem definition and user research through high-fidelity prototyping and final implementation.
  • Synthesize business objectives and technical requirements into clear, intuitive UI/UX solutions for complex financial products.
  • Drive the development of design systems, reusable component libraries, and interaction patterns to ensure scalability and visual coherence across platforms.
  • Facilitate design critiques and peer reviews, providing expert feedback to ensure craft usability and technical integrity.
  • Refine and optimize digital designs based on user feedback, data insights, and engineering constraints to improve product performance.
  • Define end-to-end user journeys for financial services such as brokerage tools, cryptocurrency interfaces, and retirement accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field (or foreign equivalent) and five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Go, Python, or Scala programming experience.
  • Kubernetes and Docker experience.
  • EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC experience.
  • Terraform and CloudFormation experience.
  • Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog experience.
  • Buildkite, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions experience.
  • PostgreSQL, Redis, and DynamoDB experience.
  • Kafka or Kinesis experience.
  • Background checks required.
