Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Trading)

You will be the quality champion for a trading platform. You will own the end-to-end quality strategy, design and build robust E2E and API automation, validate order book behavior, matching logic, execution accuracy, pricing and fee calculations, and run load and stress tests. You will design reliable test data and environments (including mocked or real blockchain interactions), reduce flakiness, integrate tests into CI, and work closely with engineering and product to define testable acceptance criteria and drive automation adoption.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve QA standards, release criteria, and quality metrics
• Design, build, and maintain a scalable end-to-end automation framework
• Develop comprehensive automated API tests and ensure API/frontend consistency
• Validate execution paths, price impact, and fee calculations
• Drive API-level load and stress testing for high-throughput scenarios
• Design test data and environment strategies for repeatable E2E and API tests
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to define acceptance criteria and drive automation adoption

Requirements

• 3+ years in QA for web or fintech products with at least 2+ years focused on test automation and E2E testing
• Experience building and maintaining E2E test frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress
• Experience in API testing and automation (REST, JSON-RPC, or similar)
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
• Experience testing complex transactional or financial systems
• Good understanding of trading concepts including slippage, liquidity, routing paths, and execution flow
• Experience designing stable automated test suites with CI integration and flakiness reduction
• Nice to have: experience testing DEXs or trading platforms
• Nice to have: familiarity with blockchain basics and smart contracts
• Nice to have: experience with performance/API load testing tools such as k6 or Artillery
• Nice to have: experience using AI tools to improve test generation and coverage
