Senior Sales Engineer (US Based) | Identity Security

We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer based in the US to act as a strategic technical partner for enterprise sales across North America. This is a highly visible, revenue-driven role focused on accelerating complex enterprise deals, influencing executive stakeholders, and driving technical wins that translate directly into business growth.
This position is ideal for someone who combines deep cybersecurity expertise with strong commercial acumen, executive communication skills, and a passion for solving complex identity security challenges in enterprise environments.
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will partner closely with the sales organization, lead strategic technical engagements, support regional growth initiatives, and help shape Segura’s presence in the North American market.
Main Responsibilities

Lead the technical sales cycle for enterprise opportunities, including discovery sessions, presentations, demonstrations, proposals, RFPs, evaluations, and handoff to post-sales teams;

Architect and position Identity Security solutions aligned with customer business outcomes and security strategies;

Lead and execute Proof of Concept / Proof of Value (POC/POV) engagements in complex enterprise environments;

Act as a trusted advisor for CISOs, technical leaders, partners, and enterprise stakeholders throughout the sales cycle;

Drive deal momentum by proactively removing technical blockers and accelerating evaluation cycles;

Build and expand technical relationships with enterprise customers, channel partners, and strategic accounts across North America;

Partner closely with Account Executives to increase technical win rates and support predictable revenue growth;

Represent Segura in webinars, events, partner enablement sessions, and industry-facing technical initiatives;

Mentor and support regional Sales Engineers, contributing to technical and commercial best practices;

Act as a customer advocate internally, collaborating with Product, Architecture, Delivery, and other cross-functional teams.
Main Requirements

Strong experience in Sales Engineering / Technical Sales roles within enterprise technology or cybersecurity environments;

Strong experience in Identity Security, IAM, PAM, IGA, CIEM, ITDR, or related cybersecurity domains;

Proven experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles and conducting successful POCs/POVs;

Strong business-oriented mindset with the ability to connect technical solutions to business value and customer outcomes;

Experience engaging executive stakeholders, including CISOs and senior leadership teams;

Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills for both technical and executive audiences;

Experience working alongside channel partners, VARs, and enterprise sales organizations;

Ability to influence stakeholders across technical, commercial, and cross-functional teams;

Hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, authentication technologies, and integrations;

Familiarity with frameworks such as MEDDPICC, consultative selling, or value-based technical sales methodologies is highly desirable;

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or equivalent experience;

Fluent English is required. Spanish is a plus.

This is an independent contractor position under senhasegura USA LLC, offering full remote flexibility across the United States, with occasional travel (30–50%) to support customer engagements and strategic initiatives;

All necessary equipment will be provided, enabling you to operate effectively in a high-performance, distributed environment while staying closely connected to customers and the revenue team;
