Senior Software Engineer Developer Infrastructure

You will design and operate core developer infrastructure services that enable engineers to write verify deploy and run their code. You will improve build speed deployment safety and test reliability. You will own services end to end including SLOs observability and on call. You will partner with engineering teams to understand pain points and translate them into platform improvements. You will lead technical design for ambitious cross cutting projects and mentor engineers to shape the platform direction.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate core developer infrastructure services spanning CI and build systems deployment orchestration and test infrastructure
• Drive measurable improvements to build and CI wall time deploy speed and safety and test feedback time
• Own services end to end including SLOs observability and on-call
• Partner closely with engineering teams to understand pain points and turn them into platform improvements
• Lead technical design for ambitious cross-cutting projects and see them through to production
• Mentor engineers and shape the technical direction of the platform

Requirements

• 5+ years building and operating production software with strong fundamentals in distributed systems and a primary language like Go
• Track record of shipping high impact backend or platform systems with strong ownership from design through production
• Strong operational instincts and a focus on reliability security and observability and building for production from day one
• Clear communication and the ability to drive projects independently and collaborate across teams
• Customer focused mindset and you measure success by the impact of your systems on other engineers
