Service Engineer (Marine Communication & Navigation) - Up to $5000

• Position: Service Engineer (Marine Communication & Navigation)
• Location: Near Tuas West Road MRT
• Working Hours:Monday to Friday | 8.30am – 5.30pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience):Up to $5,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus + Medical Benefits + Annual Increment + Transport allowance
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Marine Equipment Manufacturing

Responsibilities:

• Perform servicing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of marine communication and navigation equipment
• Provide technical support for installation, maintenance, repair, and warranty-related enquiries
• Conduct testing and commissioning activities according to required standards and specifications
• Prepare service, maintenance, and commissioning reports accurately
• Maintain proper documentation for service, warranty, repair, and maintenance activities
• Liaise with service coordinators, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical issues
• Investigate defect reports and recommend suitable technical solutions
• Follow up on customer requirements and service requests
• Perform other technical duties as assigned

Requirements:

• ITE, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Communications, RF Technology, Marine Engineering, or related disciplines
• Relevant experience in installation, commissioning, servicing, or troubleshooting of marine communication or navigation equipment preferred
• Shipyard Safety Course certification will be an advantage
• Able to work independently and manage service assignments effectively
• Willing to travel overseas for project and service support when required
• Experience with Radar, Echo Sounder, Autopilot, Speed Log, Radio Equipment, MF/HF, VHF, FleetBroadband, or VSAT systems will be an advantage
