SHIPPING EXECUTIVE

The Role

You will be responsible for managing shipment documentation, coordinating with carriers and agents, and ensuring a smooth and responsive experience for our clients from booking to delivery. As part of a lean team, you will also support business development by reaching out to prospective clients- a great opportunity to develop commercial skills alongside your operational ones.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and process shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin
• Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, and transport vendors to ensure timely shipment execution
• Handle TradeNet permit declarations and liaise with Singapore Customs where required
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on shipment status, enquiries, and issue resolution
• Support outreach to prospective clients via phone and email — finding out their shipping needs, trade lanes, and current logistics arrangements
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, client interactions, and follow-ups

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics operations
• Familiarity with Singapore Customs procedures and TradeNet is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in English — clear, professional, and responsive
• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• A team player who is comfortable in a fast-moving, hands-on environment
• Fresh candidates with relevant diplomas (logistics, supply chain, business) will be considered if they demonstrate strong initiative
