SHOP SALES ASSISTANT

Job Summary

Attend to walk-in and call-in customers by providing product recommendations and processing sales orders. Manage cashiering, stock replenishment, and inventory tasks while maintaining a clean and organized shop environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist walk-in and call-in customers by providing accurate product recommendations to meet their needs
  • Prepare quotations and process sales orders efficiently to support sales operations
  • Handle cashiering and payment collection accurately to ensure smooth transactions
  • Replenish stock and maintain proper product displays to enhance customer experience
  • Assist in receiving stock, packing items, and conducting inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and email to provide timely information
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop to create a welcoming environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Basic computer skills to operate sales and inventory systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Good communication skills in English to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Mandarin language skills are an advantage for communicating with a broader customer base
