SHOP SALES ASSISTANT
Job Summary
Attend to walk-in and call-in customers by providing product recommendations and processing sales orders. Manage cashiering, stock replenishment, and inventory tasks while maintaining a clean and organized shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in and call-in customers by providing accurate product recommendations to meet their needs
- Prepare quotations and process sales orders efficiently to support sales operations
- Handle cashiering and payment collection accurately to ensure smooth transactions
- Replenish stock and maintain proper product displays to enhance customer experience
- Assist in receiving stock, packing items, and conducting inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and email to provide timely information
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop to create a welcoming environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Basic computer skills to operate sales and inventory systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Good communication skills in English to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
- Mandarin language skills are an advantage for communicating with a broader customer base
