Site inspector
Job description:
- Conduct site inspections at construction projects near sewer lines and manholes.
- Identify and document the location of manholes, public sewers, and nearby construction activities.
- Take photographs and measure distances between construction works and sewer corridors when required.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, owners, and consultants to obtain relevant documents and drawings.
- Check for non-compliance, unauthorised activities, and violations of sewer regulations, and report findings immediately.
- Inspect manholes and sewer chambers for blockages, defects, illegal discharges, or signs of contamination.
- Identify illegal sewer connections and makeshift toilet facilities.
- Prepare and submit inspection reports, including checklists, photographs, and observations, within the required timeline.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum Nitec qualification.
- Possess a valid driving licence and own vehicle for site visits.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is required.
- Familiar with construction safety regulations and site operations is an advantage.
