Social Media Director
Job Summary
Develop and implement social media strategies to grow brand presence and engagement across multiple platforms. Lead content creation and campaign optimization while managing and mentoring the social media team to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with business goals to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Manage and grow social media accounts across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok to expand audience reach
- Lead content planning, creation, and scheduling to ensure consistent and engaging posts that support marketing objectives
- Analyze social media performance metrics and optimize campaigns to improve effectiveness and ROI
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align social media initiatives with overall brand and product strategies
- Manage and mentor the social media team to enhance skills and drive team performance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in social media marketing or digital marketing
- Proven track record of growing social media accounts and driving engagement
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms and trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Sprout Social
- Data-driven mindset with experience in analytics and reporting
- Leadership experience preferred
