Social Worker (Mental Health Consultant)

About the Position: Serve as a Social Worker (Mental Health Consultant) United States Army Health Clinic, located at Camp Casey or Camp Walker, Republic of Korea. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Provide targeted assessment/evaluation of functional status focused in the context of the presenting problem.

Assist with implementation and monitoring of treatment plans with Primary Care Managers (PCMs) and other primary care team members.

Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose mental health interventions.

Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.

Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.

Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.

Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.

Provide concise documentation of care and recommendations in patient’s medical record beginning in the appointment and completed in no more than 72 hours after the patient is seen.

This position is designated as having regular and recurring contact with children under the age of 18 and is subject to requirements of DoDI 1402.05.
