Software Engineer, Cloud Engineering
You will manage and troubleshoot AWS services including EC2, ECS, Aurora, and DynamoDB to ensure high availability and performance. You will contribute to infrastructure projects that align systems with broader platform architecture and shared services. You will identify manual operational processes and implement automation using infrastructure as code and workflow tooling. You will monitor database and compute capacity and adjust configurations to support platform growth and transaction volume. You will participate in an on-call rotation, diagnose and resolve production issues, and help maintain 24/7 system stability.
Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot AWS services including EC2, ECS, Aurora, and DynamoDB
- Contribute to infrastructure projects aligning systems with platform architecture and shared services
- Identify manual operational processes and implement automation using infrastructure as code and workflow tooling
- Monitor database and compute capacity and adjust configurations to support growth and transaction volume
- Participate in on-call rotation and diagnose and resolve production issues to maintain system stability
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering within AWS environments
- Practical experience with EC2, ECS, Aurora, and DynamoDB
- Use structured troubleshooting methods and data analysis to resolve infrastructure issues
- Comfortable balancing operational responsibilities with incremental automation improvements
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate with engineering and platform teams
