Specialist - IT

Primary Function

  • Responsible for day-to-day IT Support task for Hardware, Software and other IT equipment including network and cooperation with Global IT team for solving the trouble shooting
  • Projects Management, liaise with team members and vendors, local and Global Teams members
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills required to follow up with users and counterparts, provide feedback and see issues through to resolution
  • Resolve application and system failures
  • Quotations, orders, and servicing for IT equipment

Network, Infrastructure, Servers and IT Equipment Related Support

  • Multi-level support, manage, maintain, and convey resolutions for issues pertaining to Software, Hardware, Printers, IT equipment, Email, Networks, Infrastructure (switches, firewalls), Telecommunications for up to 100 users (local and overseas).
  • Understanding the potential cyber security vulnerabilities in computer-based systems, technical procedure, and protection measures to ensure availability and integrity of systems and data
  • Configure IT profiles and equipment for joining / leaving users.
  • Provide expert knowledge on MS Office and Windows applications to resolve issues
  • IT Asset Management, Acquisition and Disposal of IT equipment.
  • Monitor Backup Server and Enterprise Backup Systems
  • Carry out scheduled and emergency maintenance of managed systems to ensure that the production platforms run at optimal capacity

Support Business and Administration Application Systems

  • In-house and web applications and liaise with Vendors respectively.
  • Door Access, CCTV and Teams Phone Systems
  • Others (Omni-channel, WhatsApp)
