Staff Platform Engineer, AI Systems

You design and implement a secure AI platform that connects Copilot Agents Gemini Claude Agentic CLIs n8n workflows and local runtimes to core services. You define authentication and authorization patterns, build tiered autonomy, and create agentic workflows that empower engineers. You collaborate with teams to deploy frontier AI capabilities while balancing automation and human oversight. You are not building data science or MLOps tasks; you are building the systems that enable them.

Responsibilities

• Drive the vision by translating insights into AI strategy and aligning teams
• Build the internal AI platform by connecting tools like Copilot Agents Gemini Claude Agentic CLIs n8n workflows and local runtimes to core platforms
• Create IDE agents and develop Agentic Workflows
• Bridge information silos by building an enterprise knowledge base to connect disparate data sources for agentic reasoning
• Define tiered autonomy with verifiable state and revert mechanisms
• Secure the frontier with authentication authorization and human in the loop safeguards
• Embed with teams to unblock workflows and promote AI Native practices

Requirements

• Full stack systems experience with distributed cloud native infrastructure
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes including Helm and ArgoCD
• Experience building and operating AI platforms and tooling for LLMs
• Security focused with knowledge of zero trust and authentication authorization patterns
• Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
• Ability to architect and own end to end platform solutions
• Ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives to completion
