Job Description:
As a Store Supervisor at 786 Spices Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers within a Halal food environment. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of customer service, managing staff, and assisting with inventory control. Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and ensuring their needs are met.
Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment that aligns with our Halal food values.
- Staff Management:Supervise and schedule store staff, ensuring appropriate coverage during operating hours.
Train, coach, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Monitor employee performance and provide feedback as needed.
Oversee staff adherence to company policies and procedures, including those specific to the handling of Halal food products.
- Inventory Management:Assist in receiving and organizing inventory shipments.
Monitor stock levels and ensure products are well-stocked and correctly priced.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and shrinkage.
Ensure that Halal food products are handled, stored, and displayed in accordance with Halal food standards.
- Store Operations:Ensure the store is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Participate in opening and closing procedures.
Implement safety and security measures to protect both staff and customers.
- Reporting:Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on store operations, sales, and inventory.
Communicate effectively with the store manager and other team members to address any issues or opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a supervisory role within the retail or grocery industry.
- Knowledge of Halal food standards and certification is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
- Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to work in 3 working shifts.
