Stores Assistants (Consumables))

Join a manufacturing unit in west Singapore as a Stores Assistant (Consumables), managing inventory accuracy, stock control, and shipment preparation to support smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Update inventory reports to accurately track incoming and outgoing stock for effective inventory management
• Conduct regular physical stock counts to verify inventory levels and identify discrepancies
• Generate purchase order requests to maintain adequate stock levels and support procurement processes
• Ensure compliance with FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures to maintain product quality and reduce waste
• Liaise with other departments to coordinate stock requirements and resolve inventory issues
• Prepare weekly shipments to Penang, ensuring accurate packing and documentation for timely delivery
• Replenish stock levels by topping up consumables to meet operational demands
• Process issuance requests promptly to fulfill department needs efficiently
• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries to confirm order accuracy and quality standards
• Conduct monthly stock take and submit reports by the 15th to maintain accurate inventory records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage area to support operational efficiency and safety standards
• Perform other duties as directed to support overall warehouse and inventory functions

Other Information

Job location: Joo Koon/Boon Lay (One-way transport provided from Boon Lay MRT station in the mornings)
Salary: Up to $2500/month (Overtime as needed)
Work week: Monday to Friday (weekends as needed), day and night shifts available
